The cabins are original Maine
Camps from the beginning of the last century-- the heyday of sporting camps
and fishing lodges. They are situated on the eastern shore of Damariscotta Lake,
secluded from tourist traps. They blend well among the setting of old pines
and white birches.
The original structures have been converted into
housekeeping cottages with present-day amenities while retaining their rustic
charm. They have fully equipped kitchens, living/dining areas with wood-burning
stoves, up to three bedrooms and full baths with claw-footed bathtubs.Large
screened-in porches with picnic tables and lounging chairs overlook the Great
Bay of the16-mile long lake and the western horizon with its spectacular sunsets
over wooded hills.
